In-Stitches sent yarn and needles to a group of women in Japan who were being served after a tsunami hit – they started knitting together to stave off the cold.

They have grown from that awful beginning to knitting items together as a meditative practice – and make stuff that THEY send around the world after disasters – from a BRAND NEW, BRIGHT RED building built on land that was cleared out by that tsunami.
